Robert Rodriguez is a California native and highly accomplished entrepreneur and business leader. He is the founder, owner, and CEO of multiple U.S. companies, including Cambria Solutions, Inc., which he sold to Ernst & Young (EY) in 2022. Currently, Robert is the Managing Portner of BarronKent, his family office and holding company, where he leads strategic investments in technology, healthcare, real estate, and professional services. He also serves as a board member, advisor, and mentor to numerous companies and individuals.

Robert hos earned numerous accolades for his business acumen, including being named to the Inc. 5000 list of the notion’s fastest growing private companies. His companies earned this distinction 10 times over 13 years. In 2021, the Sacramento Business Journal named Robert as one of the region’s Most Admired CEOs and he earned the SHCC Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020.

In addition to his business success, Robert is deeply committed to his community. He serves on the Sacramento Mayor’s Tech Council and is the incoming Choir for the University of Southern California’s (USC) Capital Center Advisory Boord. He has established scholarships for first-generation graduate students and is a mentor in Stanford’s Latino Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. In 2020, Robert co-founded a new public service initiative called “Project 19th” to increase the number of women in elected office.

As the first in his family to graduate from college, Robert holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from USC, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSU Northridge, andnumerous executive education certificates. In 2017, he completed Stanford University’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program and will graduate from Harvard Business School’s flagship program, Owner/President Management (OPM), in 2023.

In his free time, Robert reads to stay up-to-date on sports, politics, and current events, explores new real estate and trends, samples his wife’s baking, and tries to get in some daily exercise. He is happiest spending time with his wife, Grietje, and their two rescue dogs, Harry and Marley, especially on California’s Northern Coast.
