James is Principal of Bainbridge Ventures, LLC., a Boulder, CO-based management consulting firm that advises high-growth companies, venture capital, banking institutions and government agencies on their growth and impact investment initiatives focused on US under-represented markets. James is a growth-stage operator and entrepreneur with over 25 year’s experience managing complex, scalable teams (public & private companies). James has founded and/or structured go-to market strategies for multiple startups focused on disrupting traditional business models including; Colorado-based Solera National Bancorp.

with $1B assets, focused on the economic viability and capital needs of the US Hispanic Market. James currently serves on the Investment Committee of New Community Transformation Fund, a venture capital fund that invests in Colorado-based BIPOC-owned high-growth companies and serves on the Board of Directors of Dallas-based Crossroads Impact Corp, a $2.9B assets holding company focused on investing in businesses that promote economic vitality and community development – it is the largest publicly traded CDFI in the US. James is a former portfolio manager with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in New York City and currently volunteers as a mentor and capital advisor for the Stanford University Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI) at the Graduate School of Business since program inception in 2015 and Access Mode, a Denver based, diversity-focused accelerator.
